Swahili translation: tuko na dawa ya kwenda kuleta kutoka mlima na hii miti inaitwa miti ya enjani engare,hii miti inaitwa ya njao ni nzuri inasaidia watu kuosha ya mguu na inatoa na mimi nasema inatoa magojwa tofauti enye iko kwa mwili kama ukishiba sana inapoesha inaponesha tumbo pia kovu sasa hii dawa inaitwa ya njao inapatikana pia mlima lazima pia iendwe iletwe kwa mlima ndio ikujwe ipikwe supu,amu inachemshwa na warani hawakunywi maji tena,maji haikunyiwi lakini ni hizi dawa zimechanganywa ndio inakunyiwa.


English translation: These medicines grow only in the mountains, from a tree called Enjani Engare. Enjani trees are good for helping people to wash their feet from parasites. They also can heal the stomach, but only after you have eaten first. It can also heal the scar. Enjani Engare is only found in the mountains, so it must be brought from the mountains down lower to the villages where it can be boiled and cooked in soup.

Swahili translation: ....marashi…marashi ya wamaasai,enjani engare,hii inaitwa miti ya kondoo warani zamani Leo morani kama nywele anapa hii dawa….iko hivi….inawekwa ndani ya nywele ya warani..

Inanuka nzuri…sasa huyu morani unanusa kutoka mbali au akifungia nguo hapa..maana ni marashi ya wamaasai..ambia basi…


English translation: Enjani Engere is used as a maasai ointment… they used to call it the Enjani sheep plant. Enjani Engere can also be used as a hair perfume… it is like this… it is placed inside the hair. It smells very good, so others can smell it from afar, or someone can put on their clothes and their clothes will smell good. This is the Maasai ointment.
